1.Gather 8 20 ounce bottles. (2 of Gatorade, 2 of PowerAde, 2 of All-Sport, 2 of water)
2.Make a data sheet that allows someone to rate the drinks effectiveness during and after a workout. (Also allow a space to write comments)
3.Pick 4 Cross-Country Runners, and 4 Soccer Players.
4.Give a Gatorade, a PowerAde, an All-Sport, and water to the 4 soccer players. (Do the same for the cross-country runners)
5.When giving the drink to the athletes, give them a copy of
the data sheet.
6.Retrieve the data sheet after the athletes complete it.
7.Determine the composition of the drink. (Select ingredients that have are important to how the drink performs when being used by an athlete.)
8.Put the information into graphs, so it is easier to read.
9.Match the ratings of the athletes to the actual composition.
